About Me

I am a freelance artist living and working from my studio in Izmir, Turkey. I have a Master's degree from DEU Faculty of Fine Arts, Ceramics Dept.

After working on ceramics for many years I began to draw animal portraits in a detailed and realistic style with pastel pencils and soft pastels.

I create portraits on a commission basis for clients to draw from and all over the world. I use photographs to draw from and prefer the very best materials.

For my pastel portraits I use a selection of various pencils and soft pastels for the best color palette; Faber Castell Pitt, Derwent series, Rembrandt soft pastels, Canson Mi-Teint pastel papers and boards, Clairfontaine pastelmat and papers...

Commission a Portrait

You can order your own pet portraits with your own choice of size.

The quality of the photo is the first important point, the more detail in a photo the better your portrait will be...

Take your pet's photo in natural light, preferably outdoors, without using flash

and take the photo at eye level with your pet...I will always review and discuss your photos with you when ordering a commission so send me as many photos as you like...

You must choose the size for your painting. In order to finalise your order 50% non-refundable deposit will be taken. When the painting is finished, the photo of the work will be sent to you to make suggestions of small touches. After the payment of the full balance within 7 days, your painting will be finalised and fixed with high quality fixative, securely packaged and sent to you without a frame.
